Background:	ALB3 is a member of Chloroplast membrane protein ALBINO3 family. It may play a role in plant senescence. ALB3 is a well-known component of a thylakoid protein targeting complex that interacts with the chloroplast signal recognition particle (cpSRP) and the cpSRP receptor, cpFtsY.

Application Example

Lane 1: Thylakoid membrane protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf containing 5 μg of chlorophyll.
Lane 2: 10 μl total chloroplast protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Electrophoresis: 15% SDS-PAGE
Transfer: blotting to NC (nitrocellulose) membrane for 1h.
Blocking: 5% skim milk at RT or 4℃ for 1h.
Primary antibody: 1:1000 dilution overnight at 4℃.
Secondary antibody: 1:10000 dilution using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (Cat# PHY6000)
Detection: using chemiluminescence substrate and image were captured with CCD camera.
