  Background:

BAK1, as a co-receptor of BRI1 (AT4G39400) that mediates brassinosteroids (BR) signaling, the functional roles of BAK1, as a versatile co-receptor for various ligand-binding leucine-rich repeat (LRR)-containing receptor-like kinase (RLKs), are being extended to involvement with plant immunity, cell death, stomatal development and ABA signaling in plants.

Application Example

Lane 1: 10 μg total protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 2: 25 μg total protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 3: 50 μg total protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Electrophoresis: 10% SDS-PAGE
Transfer: blotting to NC (nitrocellulose) membrane for 1h.
Blocking: 5% skim milk at RT or 4℃ for 1h.
Primary antibody: 1:1000 dilution overnight at 4℃.
Secondary antibody: 1:10000 dilution using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (Cat# PHY6000)
Detection: using chemiluminescence substrate and image were captured with CCD camera.
