SRP43 is a component of the chloroplast signal recognition particle pathway that is involved in LHCP targeting. It is downregulated in response to high light. It recognizes the DPLG motif in Lhcb1.

Application Example

Lane 1: Thylakoid membrane protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf containing 5 μg of chlorophyll.
Lane 2: 40 μg total protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 3: 10 μl total chloroplast protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 4: 12 μg stromal protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf
Electrophoresis: 15% SDS-PAGE
Transfer: blotting to NC (nitrocellulose) membrane for 1h.
Blocking: 5% skim milk at RT or 4℃ for 1h.
Primary antibody: 1:1000 dilution overnight at 4℃.
Secondary antibody: 1:10000 dilution using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (Cat# PHY6000)
Detection: using chemiluminescence substrate and image were captured with CCD camera.
