GUN5(CHLH)是一种多功能蛋白,参与叶绿素生物合成、质体到细胞核信号传导和ABA反应。GUN5是一种质体定位蛋白,作为Mg螯合酶的最大(H)亚基,催化原卟啉IX (Proto)转化为Mg原卟啉IX(MgProto),是植物四吡咯生物合成途径中的关键步骤。

GUN5 is a plastid-localized Mg-chelatase enzyme subunit (CHLH), and it is a multifunctional protein involved in tetrapyrrole biosynthesis, plastid signaling and ABA responses in guard cells.

Application Example

Lane 1: 5 μl total chloroplast protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 2: 12 μg stromal protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Electrophoresis:8% SDS-PAGE
Transfer: blotting to NC (nitrocellulose) membrane for 1 h.
Blocking: 5% skim milk at RT or 4℃ for 1 h.
Primary antibody: 1:1000 dilution overnight at 4℃.
Secondary antibody: 1:10000 dilution using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (Cat# PHY6000)
Detection: using chemiluminescence substrate and image were captured with CCD camera.
